Creating a Tourism Site

Tourism within the East of England and other parts of the UK is popular. Visit East of England figures show that each year that in Norfolk and Suffolk alone that the value of tourism exceeds over £3billion each year and Tourism related employment in Norfolk and Suffolk usually comes close to 100,000 employees per year.

If you have land or wish to purchase or rent land then creating a tourism based business is a good way of using the land, generating income and contributing towards tourism. Depending upon your budget there are many different types of ways to achieve this and many different types of tourism offer that could be provided. Ultimately the most successful tourism sites are those which take into account budget and potential income for the accommodation or tourism provision, such as leisure and recreation.

We work with partners and can advise on different options for your site taking into account different budgets and suggest different approaches to achieve this through either a licence approach, not requiring planning permission but requiring a licence, or through securing planning permission and the likelihood for success. We are planning experts and previously worked for Local Planning Authorities.

We can also provide you with a business plan and cost your business proposal and help you develop your aims.

A tourism site could include, camping, glamping, lodges, caravans or other types of tourism accommodation and could include on-site facilities as well.
