Meadows is a Norwich-based planning consultancy specialising in land, estates, self-build, rural diversification and tourism developments across the East of England — including Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. We also work on select projects across the wider UK where our specialist expertise is a strong fit or we have clients who would like us to undertake their projects.

We operate differently to most planning consultancies. Every project we take on is led by a Director from day one to decision. That means no handovers, no junior delegation, and no lost details — just consistent, senior-level planning advice shaped by decades of local authority and private sector experience

Jason Parker

Director

As a Director of Meadows, Jason brings 20 years of extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, establishing himself as a highly accomplished and qualified planning expert.

Jason’s career began in local government, where he worked within the planning departments of five different councils across Norfolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire and then moved into the private sector dealing with a wide range of planning applications, appeals and projects.

Louise Shorten

Director

As a Director of Meadows, Louise is a highly accomplished finance and business expert with a wealth of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and business growth.

A qualified and experienced accountant, Louise plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring sound financial governance, and driving sustainable expansion.

Simon Henry

Director

As a Director of Meadows. Simon is a qualified and highly experienced planning consultant with over 20 years of experience as a planning consultant working in the private sector.

Simon brings a wealth of expertise in navigating complex planning processes and securing successful outcomes for a diverse range of clients. His extensive portfolio includes managing and delivering a wide range of planning applications and related projects.
